FOUNDATION CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
ACADEMICS

Curriculum
Accellerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum is used throughout the school. The student should "master" the objectives of a unit with a score of 80 percent or higher on the PACE test before moving forward. Rosetta Stone language learning software is used for high school. The high school technology text is the Shelly Cashman Series. Each student is assigned ACE computer work each week in reading, math, word building or typing. We teach every subject from a Christian perspective. The costs of repeat PACEs because of student failure will be borne as an additional curriculum cost by the parents. Students are encouraged to study before asking permission to take their PACE Test.
Grace Private School Association
GCS is accredited through Grace Association of Private Schools, Florence, SC.
Opportunity
Attendance at FCS is a privilege. The goals of the school are not to reform but to train its youth in the highest principles of responsibility, spiritual leadership, personal integrity and citizenship, and at the same time provide the opportunity for outstanding academic preparation. Because attendance is a privilege, The school reserves the right to dismiss a student if the conduct of the student is in open conflict with the standards of Scripture and/or the school or the student fails to progress by completing less than twelve (12) PACES in any quarter. The School reserves the right to deny admission or re-admission to a student who is uncooperative, disrespectful, defiant, dishonest, or immoral.
