Admission Procedures

 

The process of enrollment at FCS prior to final acceptance shall include but is not limited to the following:

 

1. Submission of properly completed application forms and registration, including school physical, immunization records, copy of birth certificate, social security number, reports from previous school: grades, discipline reports, standardized tests.

2. Parent/student interview with an administrator to insure that: a) the parents desire a Christian education for their child; b) family beliefs and practices are consistent with the standaards, doctrines, and values of the school; c) the child, if middle or high school age, expresses a desire to attend FCS and agrees to live in harmony with school standards; d) students with a history of severe behavioral problems have cleared their records with previous schools and now demonstrate a commitment for a changed life style in both personal testimony and character references.

 

Upon completion of the designated steps, parents are notified as to whether or not their child has been accepted into the school. Students can be accepted with conditions, for example: the student goes to summer school, be tutored, or repeat a grade level. Students who hae been accepted in the school must have their files complete and accounts current in order to begin school the first day. Al students must have immunization forms and birth certificate forms submitted for school files. FCS Follows an admissions procedure sequence that benefits both the school and prospective parents. Parents of students who have been granted admission, then are required to complete the forms and pay the fees.
